Our Story
Star Support Solutions, LLC is a family-centered agency proudly serving individuals and families throughout North County San Diego. We understand how important it is to have compassionate, dependable support when caring for a loved one with an intellectual or developmental disability.
Our company was founded by a family with firsthand experience supporting a loved one with a developmental disability. Because of our personal experience, we understand many of the challenges families may face while navigating services, finding trusted support, and balancing the responsibilities of caregiving.
Star Support Solutions was created with a mission to provide high-quality, person-centered services that families can trust. Through Respite Services, Behavioral Respite Services, and Supportive Living Services, we provide individualized support based on each person’s unique needs, preferences, strengths, and goals.
Our respite services give caregivers the opportunity to rest, recharge, practice self-care, and attend to other responsibilities with confidence that their loved one is receiving compassionate support.

At Star Support Solutions, our Respite Services are designed to provide caregivers with a temporary break from their caregiving responsibilities while ensuring their loved one continues to receive safe, compassionate, and dependable support.
Respite care gives families time to rest, recharge, attend to personal needs, or simply take time for themselves. Our goal is to help reduce caregiver stress, restore balance, and provide peace of mind knowing their loved one is being supported by caring and qualified staff.
Our respite services are tailored to each individual’s unique needs, preferences, routines, and interests, with support provided in a respectful, dependable, and person-centered manner.

Respite Services
Behavior Respite Services
At Star Support Solutions, our Behavioral Respite Services are designed to provide caregivers with a temporary break from their caregiving responsibilities while ensuring their loved one receives safe, structured, and individualized support.
Behavioral Respite Services are intended for individuals whose behavioral needs may interfere with daily living, participation in routines, or community activities. These behaviors may include, but are not limited to, task avoidance, attention-seeking behaviors, refusal, tantrums, property destruction, aggression toward others, and self-injurious behavior.
Our trained staff provide person-centered support that focuses on safety, consistency, positive behavioral strategies, and the individual’s unique needs, preferences, and routines.
For individuals receiving services through a Regional Center, prior authorization may be required for Behavioral Respite Services.
Supportive and Independent
Living Services
Star Support Solutions supports individuals with intellectual disabilities in their desire to live on their own and be an active part of their local community. Our goal is to provide the best care possible for individuals with intellectual disabilities by matching them with the right individuals who are trained to reinforce independence, self esteem, social interaction and decision making. Helping to foster an atmosphere for our clients that will help create an environment that is safe, healthy, and happy while encouraging purpose and dignity. Coordinating quality and safe housing typical of others in the community without disabilities, keeping individuals informed of community events, programs, and other activities for their enrichment.
SSS, Inc. will help enhance the consumers ability to make life decisions based on personal preference by being positive, showing respect, talking and empowering the individual. Allowing each unique individual the opportunity to express themselves and embrace their uniqueness while discovering and reinforcing their own identity. Empowering the individual to be confident in his/her decision making process. Constantly supporting the consumer in maintaining self esteem, confidence, independence, and self help skills in the home and in the community.

Star Support Solutions is excited to announce the development of Star Pathways, our upcoming community-based day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Star Pathways is being designed to provide meaningful, person-centered opportunities that promote independence, community inclusion, social development, life skills, self-advocacy, recreation, and vocational readiness.
Through individualized support and community-based experiences, participants will be encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence, develop new skills, and take an active role in creating the life they want.
